Claire fell asleep with her doll and it was so cute. I recognized the peace of the moment (they're rare) and took a picture of each of our beautiful gifts from God. The ancient Roman philosopher Horace admonished, “Whatever hour God has blessed you with, take it with grateful hand, nor postpone your joys from year to year, so that in whatever place you have been, you may say that you have lived happily.”
These are the tender moments pres. Eyering must have been talking about! I had one of those afternoons too.
